In 1935 Albert Fouquet visited his childhood friend Ahmed in Egypt. Fascinated with essences in use for thousands of years, in the birthplace of perfume, Fouquet created Egypt. The woody spicy fragrance opens with sweet undertones of lavender and lemon met with bitter nuances of moss. A spicy heart introduces cardamom and nutmeg to the composition, along with thrilling additions of sandalwood, leather and patchouli in the base.
